  19. At my school, I was having a similar problem.  I had to tell it to wait for 
  20. the "e:" in Username: because the first character was modified by an 
  21. invisible control character or something.

  23. Furthermore, I had to do a smilar thing, because the prompt before being 
  24. able to type PPP has a different computer connection number each time, 
  25. (CSnn>>).  So I had to tell it to "WAIT >>" before SEND'ing PPP, and now for 
  26. the first time in many long months of trying, AmiTCP and PPP WORKS.  And 
  27. boy is it nice - offline mail!!!!
